Disability respite providers who offer services in the Grampians region can add details of their news and events here. Simply use the + Add your news and events link to post news items. Articles will be sent to the Grampians Respite web manager for editorial approval before they appear in the listings.   Please note that articles may receive light editing as deemed necessary by the web manager.

VALID Abuse and Neglect Forum 20th May Ballarat


NDS and VALID are holding forums around Victoria on Understanding Abuse and 'Staying Safe'

We are heading to Ballarat on the 20th May to conduct a forum which consists of 2 sessions and will run for 3 hours altogether

1. 'Staying Safe' Abuse and Neglect is no okay! (VALID) 10 - 11:15am - directed at People with disability and support staff

All Terrain Wheelchair At Halls Gap


Located at the Brambuk Cultural Cente in Halls Gap is an all terrain wheelchair also known as Trail Rider which is available for visitors with mobility limitations.

This model is suitable for both sandy and semi rough tracks making it easier to access the many stunning trails in the park.

The chair can be booked free of charge and is easily disassembled to fit into the back of most wagons or 4WD vehicles
