Visual Pop Up Shop

One of the many workshop throughout the year that Pinarc offers is a Visual Pop Up Shop. Where you can come in and have an individual coaching session to learn how to make visual supports such as; social stories, timetables and reward charts. 

Visual supports are tools that can be used in many ways to help children and adults:

  • Learn new skills
  • Communicate with others
  • Understand and join in more
  • Become more independent in daily activities and routines
  • Learn positive behaviours
  • Develop friendships

Our staff will: 

  • Show you lots of examples of visual supports for home, kinder, school or at your work place
  • Help you plan the best visual tool for your situation
  • Show you how to use ‘Board maker’, the ‘Tools 2 Talk’ app or the internet to make visuals
  • Help you make visual tools on the spot so you can take it home the same day.

When: Wednesday 28th February 2018
Where: Pinarc Disability Support 1828 Sturt Street, Alfredton

Cost: $5.00 to cover the cost of materials (cash or eftpos). Flyer attached
