So make sure that you get in your registrations & bookings this week. As usual if your need longer to get your bookings, this can be arranged by calling Brenda at VALID or emailing Christine.
Reminders
* services who have registered people WITHOUT a name, need to have the names to us by the 31st of January at the latest or your participants will 'be nameless' on their name tag.........& names will have to be written on by hand.

* it would be appreciate if group leaders could make sure that you have let us know about any special needs (eg. dietary, mobility) for people in your group/family, so we can support you in the best
* bring your red t-shirts to support the NDIS campaign - we are going to smash the record for the number of people in red at a NDIS event!!!!

Volunteers Orientation
.....a reminder that volunteer orientation in Geelong is from 11am - 12.30/1pm on Feb. 2nd at the Deakin Uni Café, but we need RSVP as lunch is provided. thanks
..... DHS, ODSC & OSP volunteers will be notified about orientation at DHS Head Office fairly soon but it is likely to be around the 30th or 31st of Jan.
..... another Melbourne Orientation can be provided at the VALID office if enough people request it.
If you can't attend any of the Vol. Orientations, then contact us & we'll send you a Volunteer Handbook that outlines a range of information on support, venue & roles of volunteers.
Dinner & Disco
The 2012 Dinner Disco in the new & exciting venue at 'The Pier' has places left, so get in quick.
Reminder: The Pier is where the Smorgy's was located - out on the water at the end of ...the pier! Great views. Flower power theme. It is going to be fantastic!!!
